Pocono Action Sports has been one of the major water sports rentals on Lake Wallenpaupack for over 25 years! The beautiful location, in Pennsylvania's largest manmade lake, amongst the famous Pocono Mountains; the Lighthouse Harbor Marina takes great pride in continuing to host a major port for boat enthusiasts from all over! Whether you are visiting us from the opposite coast, down south or simply within the Tri-state Are of Pennsylvania, New York and New Jersey; you will enjoy Lake Wallenpaupack and make it your yearly tradition to visit us during the summer! In 2021 both, the Lighthouse Harbor Marina and Pocono Action Sports, underwent a new ownership. After experiencing it's first season of carrying on the established name; it's amazing team has spent the winter months preparing for the next Boating Season with upgrades and improvements in every way! New Boats, New Crew, a New Online Rental System, Polished Operations and so much more! Pocono Action Sports has re-branded it's look, feel, and way of doing boat rentals like never before!
We rent a variety of both motorized and un-motorized boats from our fleet! From classic beautiful pontoons, runabouts and fishing boats; to kayaks and paddleboards! Our NEWEST and most popular addition to the fleet are our Slide Boats, Jet Boat Cars and Tiki Boat Charters! All ages can enjoy, either chilling on the upper deck and getting some sun, or weighing anchor and sliding off the slide into the refreshing water, or riding a single tube behind! Plan your next party, event, family gathering or even bachelorette/bacherlor party on the water and upgrade to the slide boat or entirely staff captained Tiki Boat Charter!
What's the difference between ECONOMY, STANDARD, PREMIUM and SLIDE Pontoons?
Our Pontoon Rentals have three class categories. Here is the difference:
A.) Our Economy Pontoons run at about 90 HP, perfect for a day of fishing or simply lounging in a quiet cove on the lake. No accessories can be paired with this boat. They are our older models, but we have new seats and upholstery done on them so they are still super comfy and fun to enjoy! Fits 8 people max.
B.) Our Standard Pontoons runs at about 115 HP. It's perfect for your general boating needs and pulling single tubes. These models are super comfortable and newly upholstered! Fits 10 people max.
C.) Our Premium Pontoons run at about 150HP. This makes them perfect for pulling a kneeboard or tube or tandem tube behind it! They also have our newest models within the fleet. Fits 10 people max.
D.) Our Slide Pontoons run at about 150 HP. They are perfect for single tube rentals and a fun day on the lake! They have a built in double decker with a slide which is perfect for all ages to enjoy! These brand new boats are the largest and fit up to 14 people max.
NEW! Charters and Jet Boat Cars for the 2024 Boating Season!
A.) Pontoon Charters: Captained boating now available for those who just want to focus on the fun! Great for parties, corporate events, and small groups! Available in 2-hour time slots or 3-hour time slots (4 hours max), which gives you plenty of time to enjoy boating on Lake Wallenpaupack!
B.) Tiki Boat Charters: Enjoy a 3-Hour ride around the lake on one of our newest additions to the fleet! With a bar down the middle and bathroom on board, this vessel is perfect for hanging out and having a good time on the lake. Captained by one of our certified staff, you and your group are sure to enjoy Lake Wallenpaupack! Fits 18 people max.
C.) Jet Boat Cars: Looking for a quick spin around the lake? Do you have a need for speed? Try out the coolest and most unique vessel on Lake Wallenpaupack for the 2024 Boating Season! Jet Boat Cars! Modeled after your favorite sports cars, these babies drive like a car but speed like a jet ski! Rentals are available by the hour and are coast guard certified vessels. Captains are not available. Drivers must have a boater's license if born after January 1st, 1982. Standard Driver's License is required if born before January 1st, 1982. Fit 4 people max.

*All rentals require a licensed captain with a boating license or passed boating safety course, unless born before Jan 1st 1982. Sorry no pets allowed on the boats. Sorry we DO NOT offer Jet Skis or Parasailing.
